LEE's Jump Rope Institute
presents JumpRopeSprint™ in the park!
August
7, 2010
What
happens when athletes run as fast as possible while also jumping
rope? We are offering $20,000 in prize money to find out
Come to College of the Canyons on August 7, 2010, so you can
say "I was there when it all started." Starting
times for qualifying rounds will depend on the number of entrants.
Semi-Final heats will begin at 8:00 p.m. Take I-5 to the Valencia
Boulevard exit and go east one block. The stadium is on the
right.
There will be 10 separate divisions of races (based on
age and gender), as well as filming of "grand finale"
footage for a movie that will document the birth of this exciting
new sport. Attend to race or just to watch. Either way, you
can help launch a sport, be in a movie, and support a worthy
cause. Event proceeds will benefit Bonnie Heck Mind Matters,
a brain cancer research charity founded by COTC Head Track
Coach Belinda Kane.

Our Mission
The Jump Rope Institute was founded in 1996 by US Olympian Wrestler and Jump Rope Conditioning Coach Buddy Lee as an educational platform to Redefine Jump Rope for the 21st Century through technology, research, history, biomechanics, physiology, psychology and know-how. Our primary focus is to provide basic jump rope knowledge, dispel misconceptions, and provide information on how to get people Skipping in the Right Direction.
We intend to motivate, educate and encourage people of all ages to jump rope the right way; with correct technique, proper equipment and progressive programs designed to gain athletic advantages in speed, quickness, agility, muscular endurance, aid in weight loss, rehabilitation and improve cardiovascular health!
We offer workshops throughout the USA and Canada to coaches, athletes, personal trainers and fitness enthusiasts!
Rope to Success!

The Jump Rope Institute goal is jump rope education.
To motivate and encourage people to use jump ropes for
sports, jump rope cross training, jump rope fitness, jump
rope weight loss, and jump rope recreation as a way of
life. |
